Waiting 2 Months to be Paid for a Fully Completed Project on Time

Discussion started by cagatay-cetin

Hello everyone,

In the projects I've accepted recently, the customers have been a bit of a hassle. For example, after I complete the project, they can make requests completely independent of the visual references and written explanations they presented to me at the beginning of the project, and when I request additional payment for these, they want to cancel the project and get a full refund (one of these customers tried to prepare a message screenshot that did not belong to me, to get a refund for the completed project and sent it to CGTrader as false evidence :) ).

Anyway, without further ado, let me come to my main complaint. In the cases, as I mentioned above, although I have completed and delivered the project, I have to wait 10 business days (2 weeks) in order to receive my payment as per the project contract. If I have completed the project in the middle of the month and I have to wait 2 more weeks for it, CGTrader's approval of the project is up to the next month and since the payments are received 50 days later, I have to wait 64 days in total. Yes, waiting 65 days to be paid for a fully completed project on time! I don't think this period of time is fair and I'm curious about the opinions of other CGTrader sellers.

If the waiting period for a completed project was a reasonable time like 2-3 days, I would have waited 20 days instead of 65 days.

I had to write a long post to explain myself, sorry.

I would be glad if you share your comments.

They always seem like a con. Why spend time if no guarantee of a financial reward?
