Retrostyled concept cars

Discussion started by elok3dart

This concept car was designed for my ex client who wanted from me to create modern version of classic car from year 1976.I worked on this project for two weeks, client was pleased with my work.Later on he told me there are other designers too and he will let me know.In most cases it becomes abandoned projects without client reply :(

That is how your wil power vanishes,if it repeats formany years burnout is ineviatble. It is particualrly painful when your dream was always to see your design as real car prototype.
Well it was a life lesson, maybe I did not see my supercar prototype, but you can check Overleague game by IMBA gamedevs where my concept cars was used. They enhanced em :)

Yes my message to other artists is to pay attention to your health first and then you can work on projects for your clients. Also not all clients are equal and be ready for stopped projects and create models for 3d stock in spare time in case big project fails, which happends often.
Please share with me your experience with your clients,I am very curious how other artists handle with bigger projects for their clients :)

Anyway please check on link below my concept car as well other designs of mine on my store. All models 50% OFF

Your models are beautiful, detailed, and very well made. You’re truly talented—maybe luck just didn’t play in your favor this time. But I believe you’ll achieve this dream in the future. Wishing you all the best and good luck!

Thank you for your kind words and support. My aim was to share my experience with other artists,so they pay attention to their health first and then to work for their clients. Yes sometimes luck also plays a roll for bigger success. Thanks to my passion for cardesign I learned 3d modeling and later when I was worked as graphic designer I had to learn Adobe and Corel draw softwares as well cad modeling with Rhinoceros3d software. As selftaught designer working in such competetive enviroment with real industrial designers it was both stressful and exciting experience, but I was paid pretty well and got rewarded as I progressed. It lasted one year, but that experience changed me and pushed me to learn and improve my skills even more. When I started to sell,3ds max files was must have,so I gambled and invested my time in learning blender 2.49 version it was back then.Since blender3d version 2.60 with cycles render blender became a powerful toy in comapring to older versions I was started with. Thanks again for your kind feedbacks and I wish you the best with your work too.
