Tags suggestion

Discussion started by Yamato3d

I think it would be great to have two things with tags:

1. To paste tags from previous projects.

2. To paste tags from the buffer. Manually texting tags is not always an optimal way.

Did you try your suggestions before posting request? Pasting tags from clipboard is already possible in cgtrader since... forever.

The first one is more relevant, since I posted 9 similar projects. But thanks for pointing that out.

Write your tags in txt file, then copy paste them everytime you publish similar model. It doesn't matter from where you will be copying tags, as long as you can paste them in one go.

Well, having another small file somewhere on the hard drive is not that convenient. It's faster to paste from the uploaded project, or to write manually, then to browse files and copy/paste. But it's not that bad either.

"Write your tags in txt file" The only way till now. You should create a line of keywords for a group or a series of assets and save that instead of relying on if it is still in your RAM. If you develope your folio one day to a higher ammount of models, and you have do keywording additional to CGT, on Vimeo, RenderHub, Turbosquid, 3D Export etc. for the same item, you would die while still typing.
