Free sample / file compatibility button on product page.

Could a sample button / link be placed on each product page. This button link would be to a free sample that would allow potential buyers to check file compatibility. The idea would be to have a simple sample file, it could even be a cube or sphere in the same file format that the model is in.
For most sellers this would be the same sample file or files that they supply their formats in but would be in the form of a quick button link.
For example, I would have a simple 3ds Max 2014 scene for potential customers to try.
I think this would reassure some potential buyers especially as some preview images and descriptions are quite basic.

Uploading product samples for customers is recommended in the latest infographic to help boost sales, so it would be helpful if this sample button was added to the product page.
Sellers could have an incomplete version of the specific model or they could just link to a generic file with the file format for buyers to check out.
