What do I do about broken images for products?

Give it 10 minutes then check again, I find that most of the time there is a delay with some images and they fix themselves after awhile. If not I then delete those images and re-upload. Another CGT bug that hasnt been fixed in a long time.

To fix broken product images, check that image URLs are correct and the hosting server is running. Clear browser or site cache to refresh the images, and if needed, re-upload the images. Use placeholder images to maintain a good user experience until the issue is resolved.
