4. Add possibility to organize model order to show on sellers page. "Best match" by default and without alternatives is working not good.
I think this topic needs to be discussed, and maybe it's time to change the system itself a little.
Sellers on CGT are like the owners of little stores in a giant supermarket.
Tell me, have you seen in real life a store that has a discount on absolutely every product? No. There's a discount on some products, there's a NO discount on some products, and that's okay.
The current system on CGT is aimed exclusively at the benefit of the buyer. But the seller is driven into rigid absolutely disadvantageous frames.
We are offered: either to have a discount on all products, or no discounts.
In stores there are always discounts, but not all at once and they may differ from each other!
I would like the seller to have a choice:
1. To make a discount on everything or to remove the discount - as now.
2. Choose the products that he wants to sell at a discount, and what products to sell without discount.
3. Choose the SIZE of the discount. Something can be sold at a discount of 10%, and something selling bad can be sold at a discount of 60-90%, some products may sell without discounts at all - customer can always negotiate.
This is a flexible system that has been used for decades by all the stores in the world, it suits everyone.
The vice of the current system is also that when choosing discounts on all - sellers just increase the price of this product - everyone understands what is done on purpose, that it makes no sense, so why we need such a system?
I don't know much about economic processes and maybe I miss something important, please don't judge me strictly :)

This is an old topic.
AFAIK CGT has never given any answer.
Maybe broader "push" from our part could start - at least - a discussion.
Maybe a variety of options for the seller is too difficult to realize?
It would be good to be able to adjust the size of discounts at least.
I think that nothing will change for buyers: now they see some products with discount, some without discount.
In my opinion sellers would be more comfortable to feel more control over their products, have a sense of flexibility and be able to adjust prices for better results.
But on the other hand, perhaps CGT doesn't want to give us more control so that we don't do anything stupid with the wrong strategy? )
It's funny, because all the OP is asking, was already available at cgtrader at some time in the past. Sellers were free to set their discounts on selected models and size of discount was not regulated at all. As far as i'm aware, at this time no other marketplace did have discounts at all. Then cgtrader decided to screw everything and introduced permanent discounts for everything. Things went downhill pretty fast from that moment...
@jedi3d, i can't remember when exactly cgtrader introduced mass discounts, i think it was few months after they decreased max royalty rate from 90% to 80%, somwhere in Dec 2016 - Jan 2017.
For sure, cgtrader is aiming to draw more customer with the help of discounts, but some believe that discounts was also their main weapon against their main rival, which is partially confirmed by the fact how quickly said rival has adopted discounts at their own marketplace.
