Is the mini cooper brand not allowed to sell? What else is forbidden to sell?

By publishing branded products, you're at constant risk that brand owners may request to take down the content that violates their IP. Some brands are more unsafe than others. Below is a small list of brands that you should avoid. If one knows more "unsafe" brands, feel free to contribute to the list.

Has someone tried to contact one of these brands and ask for permission?
Maybe there can be a good response, you are not trying to steal anything, but offering more exposure to the model and the brand.
Moreover, a stylized design, let´s say a cartoon design is an artistic approach and they have nothing to lose.
Most of those companies has entire licensing departaments, which are busy with serious licensing deals. Most likely they won't even bother to respond to individuals who want to sell few models per year.
Cgtrader as a company could approach brand owners and negotiate for good deals, but they probably would seek exclusive rights and that wouldn't be exciting news for most of us.
