Avarage Sales Quantities

Discussion started by Orshia3D

I sold 2 models one time up to the present. I keep improve my 3D skills. I am adding Unity packages , Obj , FBX , glTF formats etc. for customers. Also I am adding free models for repututation

Can you check my page for tell me have I any issue about my models?
What I wonder is How many times can sellers sell them models in a month? I know category makes a difference for sales quantities.

I think only some well-known sellers can sell models multiple times. Am I thinking right? I trust your experience!

Thanks a lot in advance!

hi Orshia

How long have you been selling up to now?
it sometimes takes some time to start selling models.

we seem to have a similar amount of models. i started selling 5 months ago, but only started selling the last 2 months.
i have sold 4 different models up till now, one of these models sold 3 times, so 6 sells in total.
if you only started recently, sales might catch on later.

also, i noticed your models are somewhat low priced.
i am also pretty much a newbie, so if a more experienced seller contradicts me, you should listen to him, but i have noticed that lower prices do not equal more sales. If somebody needs your model, he will buy it. And the models i managed to sell are not my cheapest ones, but rather those i thought i priced to high.
to some people, high prices equal high quality, so that might be one of the reasons.

The thing that I have learnt so far with selling 3d models is the filters on which your ‘customers’ or potential buyers use to find the best model for the money that they have. If you think about what you would do if for say you were looking for a ray gun model and then to find the cheapest model and the highest quality model, you use the lower price filter. This means that all the high quality models with a low price will appear, giving those models a higher chance to be bought. The man in point is the price. If the price is too high as a buyer your not going to be too willing to give your money away. So with a model that I made recently it took me 3 days to make and I can only sell it for $2 to even have a chance at someone buying it even though it is a really high quality model. So my piece of advice from this if you read this is especially with your models, they will be far more appealing to your average joe if the price is irresistible. I hope this helps you out and I hope your store goes well with a few more sales. Oh and yeah I better plug my store as well which has zero sales to this day so I would really appreciate it if you checked it out. :) https://www.cgtrader.com/elitemaster Kind Regards, Hunter
