Sad to see anyone go, but after this move by T3DS it's understandable that people will want to join the TS Guild. Just a shame that CGT will also be hit by this.
After some well known situation on T3DS I've decided to apply for SquidGuild with most of my models. So here I go for 3 day discount and then will delete the models here. Hurry up and buy for 50%!

I have quite a number of sales on TS and going Diamond level soon. Additional 20% royalty is a big deal there.
I'm not deleting all the modes here. Just the ones that were also deleted on T3DS.
I believe TS insist a seller is either all in or out of the guild. You can't do it 'per model'.
Worst case you'd need a new seller name to sell on TS and be in the Guild.
There is per model method. Squidguild bridge.
So you can get 60% on your exclusive models and 40% on the rest?
There all models are completely exclusive if you enter SquidGuild.
Hm... so you say that youll quit all other servers selling 3d models and enter just turbosquid guild? As far as i know people say that its better to be in all 3d sites that sell models, that it is better than just turbosquid guild...?
You are telling me the opposite :-(?

Is seems Squid Guild 'Bridge' lets you have some new models exclusive to TS, if your older models are restricted by a contract not to take them off another site for a length of time (such as T3DS 'Loyalty Program.') Peter, I'm not sure if TS will let you do this. You can but try, as they make up the rules for their site.
what is t3ds?
T3DS is 'The3DStudio' - another 3d stock site, like CGT and Turbosquid (TS).
T3DS recently took down all branded models - so all real world designs for cars, watches . . . . .
Does anyone know why t3ds and CGT are removing branded items, while TS is not?
I'm so glad I do original designs mostly. Nevertheless, I lost some models on T3DS, models that I doubt would be copyrighted to start with. T3DS just swept away anything having a "company name".
All those car tinkerers must have been totally obliterated.
I can see the point in this though. T3DS probably want to profile themselves to the market segment that searches for non-branded material. Maybe it works. Maybe it doesn't.
