Redistribution of models via external sites

Hey everyone,

I just found this site *link edited out*

Where they sell 6TB of 3D models, some coming from this site, and thought I'd make it public here in case anyone's model is re-sold there. They admit their pack contains several GBs of CGtrader models, so my guess is they are violating the license terms.

Just heads up to CGTrader and other artists! Or maybe someone can tell us if this is legit. (Site is in Spanish)

Yes, they have submitted a takedown notice. They are definitely not passive, but I'm guessing it depends a lot on legality and other technicalities (Site seems to be based in Argentina). Site is still up. Will let you know if that changes

Has that website been removed?
I hope CGtrader takes action, not passively.

Quarter of a million of 3D models for $15, yep, sounds totally legit.

Please remove the link from your post, there's no need to advertise thieves and scumbags. If you want to do any good, report the site to cgtrader support - they should be able to submit DMCA notice to mega sharing service on behalf of its users.
