New features on CGTrader (2)

Very good news,
- Quality and Trending algorithms improvements and integrating Quality as a main search filter.
(How is the algorithm working exactly, how does it select quality?)

- Designer public profile re-design
(Would be nice if the public profile could be more user customizable.)

Tip: e.g. a user could pick out of a list of template layouts, color pallets and add top/side banner image/logo. The ability to add/remove custom menu and submenu items to arrange own products (the profile would be more like an individualized mini shop) Also make the large dark gray band containing the stats, avatar and site menu buttons collapsible via mouse over function ore a flap out indicator or something, leaving more room for product views. (I agree it looks nice, however no need to have it in view all the time)

All Just some detail suggestions.

Site is already top of the line, makes it harder to go beyond.

Hey man, thanks for your insights. Quality depends on product views, sales, customer rating, number of days it is published and some factors which totally affects by designers, let's say: number of images, file formats, etc. We think about letting designer to push her/his best products to the top that visitors would see trending/quality models you've chosen. But this will be done a little bit later, now we will re-design that page and then think of adding new smaller features there depending on the time needed and your feedback. Customisable layouts and colours is something to be discussed - thanks! About Site itself - our designer wouldn't say so, heh. :)

Sounds like a relentless achiever ho wants to stay sharp, "good mindset". Ps. Last time I was updating a product I noticed there were some fields overlapping in the products uploading section making it hard to read inputs. (software/version and render/version) ) Also Octane render probable deserves to be in the list of renderers. (http://render.otoy.com/)

Yep, it's something similar. Just tried several scenarios and didn't found it overlapping. If this happens again please drop me a PM. And yes, we need to update the list of software and renderer in Publisher, thanks for a notice, I will look what can be done without spending too much time on it.
