Models from CGT free section ends up on sale.

Discussion started by LowPolyVehicles

Is it posible in any way to stop or reduce this? Every time when i check for new models there are always multiple models from free section that ended up on sale, some of them are also priced very high. There are also tons of accounts that sells models solely from free section. Is it posible to limit number of downloaded free models montly to 1 or 2 or forbid new users from downloading free models the first month after registration after all, this is marketplace, peoples here are not volunteer artists. I know that people share free models for their promotion but whats the point in creating your own competition without reason?

your statment makes sense. i am also victim of this but we can't do anything for it . only thing we can do before making models , search that product on sites and check either it is available for free or not, even now i am also insisted to make models free for promotion.

Let's also limit how many commercial models one customer can buy, shall we? No purchase option for new users and 2 purchases per month for old users. This would help with reselling stollen models nicely, right? Wrong. The problem is not in availability of free models, the problem is in people who are breaking the law and selling them illegally. Why should we punish innocent people just because of the criminals? Marketplace should focus on fighting against thieves, not against honest community members.

Where did you read that I mentioned purchases ? And who allows peoples to sell stolen models here ? Am I allowing them ? Am I in control here ? I made a suggestion, and that is just that, a suggestion. "Marketplace should focus on fighting against thieves, not against honest community members". Too bad that there are some interesting things that couldn't be said here on the forum, but you know very well what im on about.

@PhantomDesign, i think you read too much inbetween the lines in my message, or you're not very good at understanding sarcasm. Anyway, what i wanted to say, is that it's silly to punish honest users, just because some lowlifes are breaking the law. Not to mention that i think that your proposed "solution", would not help to lessen the issue in a slightest.
