Maya retopology tools? Opinions

Hi there, I wanted to get some opinions about the retopology tools, so has anyone tried Maya 2014s retopology tools? I haven't so I was wondering if the tool would replace 3rd party software like topogun, I'm interested in their differences and yes, I could download software trial version, but would be great to know what others think about that

I would definitely choose topogun or mudbox if i want to work on retopo, because there are not so many functions and tools in maya retopology as there are in e.g. topogun. you should also consider the normal mapping in maya which is another blind spot of this software
