Daz 3D Studio Question

Discussion started by unknownmystery445

Hi, new here and in the 3D world :) is it possible to use the products being sold here in Daz 3D Studio? If yes what formats should I buy? .obj, .fbx? Or do I still need to convert it?

The product shows what formats are available, so after purchase you can download all those (no need to buy each format separately.) FBX and OBJ are your best bet, they're the most common in the industry. Sellers always try to offer as many formats as possible.

According to Daz3D documentation, OBJ and DAE formats are supported. But if you seeking for most trouble free experience, you should look for content that is prepared specifically for Daz3D or Pozer.

You can import OBJ, DAE, and FBX file, but you will lose the rigging from native format
