I've learned when running my own business that you cannot worry about the price of individual items or of individual projects. The reality of business is you don't make money on everything you do. Somethings have to be almost free to get business going. But then you make up for it on bigger jobs. Sometimes you have to take a bit of a loss to get a client interested and then you make money in repeat business. That's just how the game works.
Do what you love, provide value for others and the money will follow you! It will start to hunt you and surprise you with extra value when you least expect it. At least that is how it has been working for me. I just enjoy making things, try to offer something unique and valuable and it will work out just fine. It really doesn't matter what you do as long as you like it and enjoy the outcome.
