They are beautiful. If they were not so sharp they could be used as earrings or pendants. They could also be printed in 2D for use as a template.
I'm glad you found the Blender addon to print. It is always important that the mesh is correct but more if you plan to print (and animate). Intersected faces can create confusion with normal and create holes in the printed piece. Distorted faces also affect normal, increase the number of tris and create overhang which complicates printing. Both create artifacts in the render and extraneous deformations.
