Halloween, which is a festival to remember those who have died. Americans' curiosity about ghosts in particular is also channeled in various ways. Baker and Bader (2014) in their research report entitled A Social Anthropology of Ghosts in Twenty-First-Century America revealed that in 2012, there were about 13 paranormal reality series that broadcast ghost hunting on television (ghost haunting) ranging from hunting Bigfoot, Monster , Aliens, UFOs and other supernatural creatures. Furthermore, Kwilecki (2009) as quoted by Baker and Bader (2014) also mentions a number of variants of ghost content which are summarized in ghost hunters, ghost adventures, ghost stories, celebrity ghost stories, haunted collectors, the dead files and haunted encounters.
