bathroom faucet

Discussion started by Orliqq

Hi to all :)

I had some spare time so I did some modeling and this is the result: faucet
The lighting is not great, its my weakness ... but I think that modeling is solid and as low-poly as could be.

Every feedback is welcome :)

You're most welcome. Just checked out the basic bed you built. Nice pine texture. I'm fond of good wood.

Yeah, I am glad you liked it, but the name of the texture I used for the material is alder, not pine. It is pretty similar though :)

I've never seen alder wood, or even alder trees here. They need hardiness zone 6-8 to grow. At any rate, the wood texture on your model looks very nice. :-)

Well I tinkered a little bit with the rendering and bump maps. Not really hi-res but I hope you will like the wood :)

I do like the wood and it still looks like familiar Canadian Pine to me. Hahaha! The presentation on Sketchfab is pretty good. It handles reflective materials better than I thought it would.

I checked out your wardrobe too. Hey, you could be designing for IKEA! :-)

Well I just realised that I was looking on the wardrobe previously and not the bed. The wooden texture for wardrobe is alder. The texture for bed is named "Clean Untreated Wood." So, my apologies :)
Thanks :D I can only hope for such a job ... the kitchens I have, was contracts for one cabinetmaker, now I am applying for a job in bathroom studio, but IKEA ... its a dream :D
