I want to increase my earnings

Discussion started by genovezosgeorge

Hi, I have 74 models here on cgtrader and I've made 110$ in total over a period of 1.5 year. Do you think it's a good amount or could it be better? How do you think I can improve my sales and revenue? If you want to share your own experiences here on this platform be sure to comment on this.

Thanks
GG

Well I'm no expert or a big seller and the marked overall seems to have dwindled, however here are my thoughts:

You have many free models, maybe to many. Try to put a price on the best of them. Earning a little on them is always better than zero.
Also try to adjust you prices. See if you could sell the 2.99 models for maybe 4.99.

Hi. You should use at least 3d blender program. The model file size is very high, 50mb. If you draw in 3d blender it is 1mb. It is important to reduce the number of polygons and make the file size small.

It sounds like you’ve put in a lot of effort with 74 models, but $110 over 1.5 years does seem on the lower side. Improving your sales could involve refining your model presentation (better renders, detailed descriptions, and proper tags), optimizing pricing, and promoting your portfolio on social media or 3D design forums. Also, consider creating models in high-demand categories or bundles. Would love to hear if anyone else has tips or strategies that worked for them!
