Negative review because of a technical issue

Yesterday a member sold my 3D model and gave it a bad review and said that all the files are damaged. I was very confused because I am very sure that all the files are working very well. I set the model for free for a while, downloaded all the files to try them o make sure and they were working perfectly.

I am not sure why this problem happened with him, is it a technical issue that happened while downloading?

I sometimes have issues raised because I always upload .rar files which have encryption on them, so they are a better option than .zip files which I have been told can carry viruses.
I had a bad review myself which I got removed by a moderator because a customer couldn't extract an OBJ file from a .rar archive. There was nothing wrong with the file they just didn't have 7zip (windows) or the unarchiver (mac) to open the archive. I think they were trying to open the archive straight into the 3D app. If you have been left a bad review then I'm sure CG Trader will look into it and probably remove it.

Thats exactly what happened to me. The customer said that he needed to use some third-party online tool to open the archive. He also changed the bad review to a positive one because of my quick response.

Had a similar issue last month. Customer bought a model that has sold many times but for some reason wasn't able to download so I had to send it to them myself.

You should never send the files to customer directly. That's the easiest way to get scammed, buyer can reach the support and ask for refund and they'd be 100% eligible to get it, because they never downloaded the files from CGT. If there's any issue with download or payments, you should always direct customer to cgtrader support and let them sort things out.
