I wouldn't say its a problem, I would say its just a condition.
Example:
A global popular clothing brand gives away all of its famous shoes.
People are amazed and excited. Wow free shoes from this famous brand! Do I need to go to their store to buy more? No... ill just wait for more free shoes.

I agree with you, it might just be a condition.
And all of a sudden after freezing for 2 days my views jumped from 440 to 463.
You could also be right, the site does have a lot of updating issues and seems to only be getting worse lately.
