How to create a path like on a motherboard or something?

So, I want to create an isometric with a hardware theme (motherboard), how do I make the lines? like this

Why not do it the same way you did your other model "Isometric Tech with light path 3D model"?

Alternatively can you trace this image with splines?

in the previous asset I made using extrude from vertices, and it was quite inconvenient. maybe there are tips to make it easier

So can you trace it with splines? Or trace it in illustrator as a path then export the path to your 3d software as splines.

ah yes, I can try that, thanks for the enlightenment 3DCargo!

Do you want to make a (A) texture or you want to make these lines as (B) objects?
A - As 3DCargo suggested, use some vector drawing app and draw the whole motherboard. This way you'll get texture which can be used to control the whole surface (diffuse color, metallic, roughness, bump...)
B - I can't tell what's the easieast way to model the wires but I did it using the curves with the profile.
1. Add a mesh circle with desired number of vertices (maybe it would also work with Add > Curve > Polygon > Circle but I didn't took a time to experiment)
2. If you added Mesh circle, convert it to curves
It is important that you get the curve without handles on vertices. This also means that the circle won't be smooth so you'll have to think about number of vertices when creating circle.
3. Curve-circle has one segment "open" so you can extrude one of the vertices on the open segment.
4. Add a profile to curve and adjust it by your needs.

I guess this is very easy and quick way to draw (model) the lines with circle on their ends but you will still need to think how to create the ends where line changes it's width (enters rectangular shape).
This method will not solve all the "problems" on motherboard but it will help you to quickly draw most of the shapes.
