Well I didnt notice any complains on the forums so far or Im simply not aware of this problem. Plus I always thought that somebody checks this jobs offers.
I read a post a few days ago where artists were discussing this topic.
I realize that it is a lot of work but I can do this if it can improve the community and help
artists avoid wasting their precious time or get scammed in the process or take on jobs
that are way below what they are worth.
I am willing to work for CGTrader to pre screen all job posts,
contact the employers and make sure they are business professionals and not scam
artists.
Then approve the real job posts so they can be applied to appropriately.
Please hire me to do this job I am sure all artists will appreciate it and we can build an even
better community and protect our artists!

Dear suckervajs, recently we have noticed more and more posts being put up where the budget is not even mentioned. When artists ask about it no one ever answers. Also there have been a few posts where people were asking for ridiculous things like a model of a high poly, high definition motor bike for a low price and it needed to be used for engineering level projects so something completely unreasonable. There have been other similar posts where they asked for 5 fully textured and beautifully rendered models to be made for only 20 bucks. So 4 dollars to produce each model.
You are right! Lots of buyers have no idea how long it takes to make a really good model and sometimes they don't know what they want or need.
There are lots of buyers that just throw a bunch of buzz words, (they heard out there) but have no idea about the actual process.
Someone needs to be there to educate them and figure out what they need and want before wasting artists precious time.
I want to be that person. Judging by how many odd job listings are being posted it would seem that no one is actually screening them or checking if clients even have an appropriate budget in mind.
