Aforementioned sellers are just an example that i found. I have nothing against or in favor of them. It's all on cgtrader.
This issue has bothered me for quite some time i just never find time to write about it. Why customer ratings value is so absurdly biased towards projects compared to model sales at cgtrader ? Take a look at couple sellers profiles. One of them https://www.cgtrader.com/designers/toymankid has 185 positive sales ratings, zero negatives and one 1 star project rating - and his overall rating is just 2.2/5 One bad experience with freelance project completely outweighs entire positive effort with models? How's that fair?! On the other hand, a seller like this https://www.cgtrader.com/designers/zeroart3d has not particularly stellar reputation with selling models, 30 out of 156 negative ratings, but that's completely irrelevant, because he has one 5 star project rating and thus his overall rating is almost perfect 4.7/5 It seems that one can be selling complete trash and don't be worry about ratings at all, because you can always can commission $10 project to yourself, give it 5 star rating and have perfect reputation on cgtrader for life. What a joke!

Considering that after receiving a bad project review 89 positive reviews were received I think this experience had no effect.
Besides removing a negative review if there is a real reason for it has never been a big issue.
In general, I think it is necessary to at least seriously reconsider the policy of awarding reputation points, rating, reviews and all related to this.
For example https://www.cgtrader.com/designers/your3dworld 56K reputation, 5 stars, but this is not a legend and not even a junior level.
