Purchase Form Errors?

Discussion started by luxxeon

Today I was contacted by a potential customer that they were not able to purchase one of my models after several attempts. The submission form was either timing out or causing a page error. I've already sent a message to the Zendesk Help, and I asked the customer to contact Support email, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had complaints like this recently? I see some other threads about website issues so it has me a little concerned. There are sales coming through, so clearly the system is functioning ok, but I'd hate to lose a sale to a system error. I don't think it's a user error, but I'm posting this here with the hopes of getting the attention of someone at CGT to help solve this for the customer. Thanks!

Thank you. Yes, I've been getting sales too, which is why I thought this issue was strange. It seems like only this one customer was having trouble. It could just be something on their end and not a site issue, but I'm waiting to hear back from Support.

Do you know where your customer is purchasing from ?
I used to have the same issue as a buyer when located in Vietnam. Sale never went through. For some reason, I stopped receiving OTP from my bank when purchasing from CGtrader. I asked CGTrader and explain me the issue was coming from my bank, not them. I changed my phone number, and all went back to normal.

CGT support seems to think it has something to do with the customer's browser. They've suggested he clear the cache/cookies and try again. I'm not sure if it would be an issue with his bank. He seems to indicate it's a website form issue but didn't elaborate beyond that. I also requested he contact Support on his end too, and he said he would. I just sent him a message with the suggestion CGT Support sent back to me, but I don't know if he actually contacted them himself as well. I have a feeling CGT is correct and it's merely a user-end issue with his browser, because I haven't had any other complaints and sales seem fine overall.
