Hello CGTrader, I would like to have a "Download All" button.

Hi,
Issue: When buying models, sometimes the seller uploads a lot of separate files. I've experienced to some extend that I was literally spending 10 minutes just clicking on each individual download link. At some point I forgot where I was, had to go back, etc. etc. A lot of unnecessary time consuming actions.
Example:
Solution: Add a "Download All Files" button that downloads all the files at once.

Just downloaded 70 individual files. Took multiple attempts and over 10 minutes, as the download "popup window" kept blocking the download buttons, and a few files failed to download after clicking. Very frustrating and exhausting to download form this website. This is the sole reason that I avoid using cgtrader when possible

I will NEVER RECOMMEND cgtrader to anybody and always point out how they ridicule their users by ignoring this feature request for at least 4 years until they add options:
- download all files from a single model
- download entire order in one click
- download all orders

While I appreciate that the artists should provide archives, it's a pretty simple feature to add, that most similar sites provide. When i review models, I will provide feedback to the artists also. For clarification, I did not purchase 300+ models - I purchased six models, which resulted in needing to download over 300 files. I don't think a basic feature like 'Download all' is a big ask - nor do many of the other people who have asked for this feature.
Exactly. There is a valid reason for an artist to put in individual files (and maybe also a zip), but there is little reason for the site to not simply include a "download all" function.

New member here, just purchased a bunch of models and now I'm stunned because I have to download and track over 300 files - for the sake of any repeat business from me, please add a 'download all' button!!!
A seller here can easily put everything in a single zip so you probable need direct your complaints to the seller. You can also mention this in a seller review to warn other buyers. If others seller find out this type of issue can be subject to negative review then they will be fast to avoid this and also adapt to making the download experience a user friendly one. However, if you are a customer that buy’s 300 models from 300 different sellers then simply contact CGtrader support (support@cgtrader.com) for help. If CGtrader would ever store single downloadable files with 300+ models from 300 different artists then probably 80% of artist here would be gone next day.

Absolutely, this should take 10 minutes to any web developer and save the clients so much time and nuisance. This situation is actually quite shameful I would say.

Coming on to say the same thing. I picked up a lot at a recent sale, but when I go to download a single item has about 50 items in it. A download all button would be great because I now second guess buying assets here or on other sites where they are packaged in a more convenient way.

And bump again, for what ever good it'll do. I'd also like to point out that they make you wait 20 seconds to "Prepare" the files, which is BS and then if you forgot to login or don't have an account, you have to login/create an account to guess what? WAIT ANOTHER 20 SECONDS! We all know this "Prepare" BS is just for them to stick an advertisement in front of your face for 20 seconds. An ad I might add that I ignore, and then actively go out of my way to consider in any purchases.

It would be great to have a simple "Download All" button. I mean yes the artist can be looked at for the multiple files but also some of the blame goes to this site. I mean it has been two years now, come on cgtrader

Come on Guys.. "DOWNLOAD ALL BUTTON" I have 37 files for one model my last model had 28. One at a time is a serious pain and its simple to add!!!

I think some of the "blame" is on the artist. Some of the 3d print models I've purchased are in .zip or .rar files, so you just download that and extract it

Quite mind boggling that "A" they didn't answer this and people have been asking for a year or more, and "B" that it wasn't there in the first place, when there is an option to upload multiple files...

One year later and they still can't add this simple option to makethings easier for the customer..
