Internal links in description

Discussion started by pukamakara

Why don't you make the oppotunity to add links in description?
Ofcource I understand that cgtrader doesn't want to allow customers to leave this platform via links to other stocks or websites.
But it would be useful if visitor could jump between different products within cgtrader via description (as it is done on TS).
For example:
I have a separate products and a collection of these products. I wish I could specify list of products in the collection with links to the pages of these products. At the same time I wish I could specify that the product is a part of the collection, with link ofcourse.
Or I have a helicopter with armament and equipment (camera, fuel tank, rocket launchers, machine gun). All these part I sell separetley as well. I wish I can put links to these parts in the helicopter description

Saying honstly I make this description with the internal links on other 3d stocks and cgtrader is the only one which doesn't have this option.

This is absolutely unacceptable.

And by the way, I didn't find any links in descriptions on TS. Where?

About such little moments as "By committing to selling your 3D models and textures only (!) at TurboSquid, you’ll join other 3D artists and designers at the top..." in the topic about SquidGuild perhaps we'll keep quiet.

As I said. Everywere it is possible but not on CGtrader. As for turbosquid - when you editing a product, there is a field where you put description. On top of this field there are buttons such as Bold, Italic, Heading 1 and so on. So look for the second button from the right - a square with an arrow. With this tool you can specify TS product ID and after you submit your editing, you will see the link to this product. For example you can search for "Apache Qatar" on TS and you will see links in description About what you wrote in quotes - I did not get it. Could you explain again what is your discontent about. Thank you.
