Yes, same thing for me, both on my phone and on my computer.
Hi,
is it me or anybody else finds that cgtrader is very slow to load lately? I think it started to slow a few weeks ago and lately it becomes unbearingly slow. especially on mobile devices. Sometimes i have to wait several minutes for page to load or refresh. judging by my models views count, i don't see increased traffic, in fact opposite would be true. Do you guys have some issues with servers?
Yes, same thing for me, both on my phone and on my computer.
Given that it took about a minute to reply to your comment, I'd say yes.
Everything runs smooth from my perspective, maybe that was different 2 hours ago?
To me the website generally feels more responsive then few months ago, so strangely we seem to have opposite perception. However, at given times I also notice some performance drops but experience them as more temporarily then few months ago.
Maybe now more often I coincidentally come in at moments when performance is ok?
It's been slow on my end as well. I've tried multiple computers and multiple browsers with the same result. Hopefully that's a sign of growing traffic on the site, which is really a good sign.
It has been extremely slow for me the past over the past few days. It does seem to be getting worse.
I noticed that too, it has been really slow in the last few days, on every device and with all the browsers
Could it be caused by the addition of cookies?
Hi everyone,
It's actually nice to hear feedback like this from our designers. The page load times, possible issues and needed updates are spotted and monitored by our team constantly as well. You're definitely about to see it becoming faster soon. To let you know on a little secret, after doing some maintenance work, it actually have been faster since Tuesday afternoon.
The traffic, however, haven't suffered as much as it was feared ( I assume) in the first comment. Of course, we're always interested in ways to increase it further, and our teams constantly dig their heels and improve processes as well as complete campaigns to do just that.
Regarding cookie comments, I must say they are not the culprit and don't really affect the process, so there's no real need to worry about that.
Hopefully that clarifies the situation a bit!
Cheers,
Eddie, CGTrader
