Tax on sold models

Discussion started by Fives-5555

Dear Cgtrader support

If I sell a 3D model on CgTrader, is it already taxed for that country or do I have to pay extra tax?

The taxes are subtracted from the purchase price (as well as (discounts etc.) as well as CGTrader's percentage.
You may have to pay tax in your own country from whatever you make here based on the Tax Treaty Lithuania has with your country.
At least that is my understanding.

You're probably confusing taxes with the fees, cgtrader does not handle taxes in any way, it's up to the seller to handle all the taxes on his/her own.

Purchases on here have the full price listed, but if you look on your invoice there is a VAT of 5.0%. So that is subtracted from the purchase price, along with fees and CGTrader's share.
