Tag for original author's models and designs

Discussion started by ivangolota

It's no secret that 3D modelers all over and over again copy already created forms. This is especially true of jewelers.
But among us already there are many artists who prefer to create independently and uniquely.
I propose to the community to agree on a single keyword (tag) to mark such models, so that buyers can quickly find them.

And how according to you it supposed to work? How buyer would know about existence of that magic keyword? And how you're gonna ensure that copycats won't abuse your secret keyword and won't tag their models as original ones? :]

Buyers will find out from us, if we agree and will follow the contract. But tag-spammers should be subjected to censure.

great idea! I have already added. https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-print-models/original-design It is necessary to write the tag of a phrase through a hyphen. Otherwise, the tag breaks down into words. I'm confused by one thing: for the tag and section of wedding rings this does not work. The hyphenic tag wedding-ring in this section is for some reason not indexed itself. Perhaps this is some kind of exception ...

It happens, that 2D sketch or idea for item is found on the net, but your 3D model, based on it, has all the features of uniqueness. In this case, I suggest tagging the model with a tag original-3d https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-print-models/original-3d

We will create a professional workshop of 3D modelers and will issue the badges of a certified seller. Minimum requirements: do not sell stolen models (copied - you can), do not lie in tags

How there is ok to sell copied models? If someone else designed something (I'm talking about some actual concept art I don't think there is something wrong about making replica of some weapons/furnitures/everyday objects) this design it's part of the sold product, you can't just take it.
