It looks like 3 days in a week will be covered by a weekend sales and the rest 4 by loyalty discounts :] Not bad if you're buyer, not so sure about sellers. Since loyalty program start i didn't sale single item for a full price. Moreover, every single sale since then was with maximum 30% discount. While it looks like sales number increased, but definitely not by 30%. However i still think it's too early to draw conclusions. I'm intended to wait for a couple months or so and then try to summarize sales and decide whether to leave buyer engagement program or to rise all prices by 20-25%.

And yeah, weekend sale every weekend is overkill. I recall someone from CGT team said that sales will be occasional event and loyalty program will be focused on long term buyers. So far i don't see anything like that. Sales are becoming common thing and loyalty discounts are given to eagerly. I don't know, maybe it works great for big time sellers, but small fishes like me, have to look at it very carefully.

Well in my opinion there have been quite a lot of sales lately... Not more sold models though in my case.

Hi everyone,

The CGTrader loyalty program is definitely monitored and its impact will be measured and analyzed, as well as adjusted regarding the buyer behavior. The program though, needs a bit more time than just a few weeks to give us better estimates, and as we've mentioned, it's dedicated to increase and sustain buyer retention.

The sale-offs do give a very positive impact at the moment, but we do also understand the risks of these sale-offs and they will be balanced to make sure we don't overuse it in the future. We do understand that sale-offs may look too frequent, but at the moment, they not only increase sales, but also give us quite a lot information about buyer habits and preferences - that will be used in the future to further increase sales and attract other new customers to the platform.

Regards,
Eddie, CGTrader
