I've seen those infographics but they still don't answer my question

Sorry, but what kind of answer you expect then? The article in my first link shows liquidity of cg models vs low poly models. It couldn't be more clear IMHO.

Please don't take this personally. May be I stated my question in the wrong way. Those infographs show the difference in demand and the quantity of the lowpoly and high poly models. However I got the impression that they compare single items and not game packs. I would like to know do clients prefer buying game packs rather than single models for their games? After all most of the game packs contains several characters with weapons or even large cities with large variety of buildings and such.

No worries, i won't take it personally. Why should i? :] I misread your original question, sorry for that. I can't give answer to your question, but i have little suggestion - why don't you put your models separately as well as in packs? That way you'll attract both type of clients - the ones who looks after single models and those who prefers them in packs. Then after some time, you'll be able to tell which method of delivery is more popular among buyers.

Hi there,

Limonadinis actually gives you a good incentive, I would agree with his suggestion.

There will always be people who search for packages, and those who only need one model, so this would give you a bigger portfolio (meaning more views and more sales) and you could target both of those audiences at once.

This is also dependent on the category you're selling - some of the categories just make complete sense to be sold in packs (e.g. if you're putting together arch details, or a pack of plants). Some of them wouldn't work that well, however, so try being convenient.

There are also a few little marketing tricks that you could exploit - i.e. putting the price of a package a bit lower than what it would cost if you bought all those models separately - showing it as a discount could help, too.

You can also put a little indication in the product descriptions - having separate models link to the package and vice versa.

Thank you both for the suggestions .:) I was just curious in case someone has more experience in that particular field . I guess it's a tough niche to test since it depends on a lot of stuff. I'll see for myself which works best:).
