I guess it's because buyer from France has to pay VAT and untill recently cgtrader deducted VAT from seller. However it is changed now and when it's applicable, VAT is added to price like it should be.
Hi, Ive a quick question... I sold a couple of assets this month 1 in the US and 1 in France. Both were $2 and after tax were $1.64 however, 1 has 71% royalty rate and 1 has 57%?
Could somebody explain why theres a difference in the royalty rate? (or am I being dumb :) )
many thanks!
Nick

Hi there,
Limonadinis is right as usual! Since we stopped taking VAT from sellers (more on it here: https://www.cgtrader.com/forum/topics/cgtrader-updates-vat), we also hidden the VAT columns in "sales" page as they are no longer needed - so the previous purchases prior to VAT updates now show the royalties minus VAT payments (ergo the 57%).
