From what I gather your asking, no.
You mean make a model, and sell it to CG-Trader directly and they give you money? That's not how the site works.
You can however make a model, upload it, and then if people like it, they can buy it. But no selling directly to the owners of the site.
Well, it should be possible to find seller who seeks such kind of deal - to buy comercial rights from some modeller and then resell models here or anywhere else. However i would imagine that such seller would demand great quality from modeller - nobody needs low complexity, bad quality models that are next to impossible to sell.
Yes I agree, I have found the occasional sales person on CGTrader who sells others' models but usually they are only interested in selling certain types of models.
Also those models tend to be low poly or mid poly but they are perfect in every way.
They have to be fully finished products, game ready, with full on textures, renders in some cases normal mapped.
It is very hard to build such high quality models as an individual so a lot of artists are working as teams and then uploading higher standard models that they can ask these sales people to sell for them.

Or create some great sets. I noticed that there are a lot of Indie game developers on CGtrader. They want super low poly or mid poly models that work perfectly and can be imported into their games with no hassle.
No hassle means that they can take whatever perfect model you made and import it into their games without having to worry about the textures not working or the rig messing up if you rigged it.
