40 dollars might be too high. The work is great, but there are a lot of furniture out there so you might want to try with something like $21.99
Hello CGTrader-Community,
Im new to CGTrader or in general to selling 3D Models and been told that i can get some help on this Forum.
I'm an experienced Blender Artist and would like to offer realistic models for interior designs, and arch viz. Im focusing on furniture and would like to offer it for an afordable and competitive price.
I have uploaded 2 models, where im not really sure if i estimated the pricing right.
This is the 2nd model im trying to sell for 40$, since it was a lot of work.
My question is if the pricing is okay and are there any tips you can tell me for a good start into selling 3dmodels.
Best wishes,
Milos Preuten

Cool, great model. There are generally 2 roads in sales. Competitive price, and compete in quality. Don't drop the price of a quality model because you will de value the rest of your work, rather aim to model 3d content that is generic enough and fit the time bracket you set aside for a 15-20 USD model.
Hope this makes sense. From my shutterstock visuals i have found that the generic content becomes the bread and butter . Also, dont limit yourself to 3d. Render your 3d content and sell the renders as well. I am currently having some good income from shutterstock and istock by selling renders of things originally intended as 3d sales.
Hope this helps
It looks so great!
