Most likely not. But it wouldn't hurt to take a screen shot of your sales chart and use that as some evidence, along with the emails of the sales, if there are any problems. But if your old models are still selling, why would you delete them?
It's an old version of one of my models, and i now have 3 of the same one up just adjusted and fixed, and i dont want people buying a model that i made a while ago and hating it when there's better versions of it out now

Why not just update the old model with the new one, update the price. Those who have purchased your model get the update for free. This way you provide a high quality product and service? Obviously your selling strategy is your choice so thats entirely up to you however I think in good faith if I purchased something that was sub-par and was given a better version, that would be an honesty policy thats hard to beat and would be inclined to leave a good review.
