How quickly does CG Trader respond to IP infringment claims?

Discussion started by sean-bullough

I found a seller on CG Trader that is selling STL files of my work without a license. I don't even offer a license to sell my STL files, or even prints.

I tried to report the listings, but you can only report up to two, then you have to contact CG Trader through e-mail.

I sent an e-mail with all the relevant links to ip_infringement@cgtrader.com and support@cgtrader.com. Those were the only two e-mails I could find.

It's a holiday week, so I figured I may not hear back from them till after the New Year.

It's just bugging me since this is the third seller in as many months I've found selling my work without a license (the other two were on other sites and the listings were removed a day after contacting them).

How good are CG Trader at responding to these issues?

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out.

Unfortunately, we could not find any of the claims you've mentioned. Could you please re-send them to support@cgtrader.com or ip_infringement@cgtrader.com?

We would look into this as soon as possible.

Kindly,
Greta CGT
