If you mean how many do you need to upload before CGT will pay you for sales, then trimitek has the answer. You can start selling with just one model in your portfolio. That doesn't mean you'll actually get sales to the single model, but if you do then great. However, the larger portfolio you can establish of quality models, obviously, the larger your chances of accumulating sales. The key is to be consistent while still maintaining quality. It's a difficult task for just one person, but if your models are really good, you will gain a client following eventually.
He is very consistently uploading. Several more (also at least one twice) models since I was writing last time on here (2 hours ago). But he should ask maybe 5 or 10$ or more for the high quality models so revenue can accumulate much faster.
I agree with the information aspect. I think the models are Sketchup solids, so polygon count wouldn't apply there unless they get converted to mesh models?

Yeah, the preview images are just photos. I don't think there's any actual 3d going on there. Maybe the first image is a render, but the rest appears to be just photos of food.
