Coupons and discount for promotional sales

Some time ago, I created some coupons and released it to my clients, which seams to have a problem.
The issue was that when they try to applicate the coupon when pending the payment processing,
the site says "Sorry, coupons and discounts for promotional sales are not added together".
I could reproduce this problem by trying to purchasing my model myself.
From what I understood, I think the coupon can't be used with other discounts, such as CGTrader credits.
But I can't find anywhere in the Review & Payment tab a button to disable other discounts.
Is it because of the CGTrader credits that the coupons can't be used?
If yes, is there a way to disable the discounts when purchasing model?

Hi Theo,
Yes, at the moment the discounts and coupons are not summed up - a bit later we will implement a feature that will let customers apply the coupon without summing up the discounts.
At the moment, you can go to your settings and preferences and unmark Customer Loyalty Discounts checkbox. This will let your customers use your coupon - and you to test out whichever campaign works best for you.
