Hey. I'm new to modeling. My hobby is low poly graphics. Will I be able to make money on this? One of my first models

Hey, welcome on board! I'm sure you'll earn money with such models. Low poly art is pretty popular these days. Just do your thing, upload stuff here and money will follow. Just be patient :)

Try spread your images and link, if you can sell some items in that way then it makes a difference in the position of your items over here and then sales get better.

Make renders pop and place them on Artstation, Pinterest, Deviant art, CGsociety, polycount, twitter, Facebook, Google+, Instagram, Behance, etc.

If people like your work they share it or follow and get notified on next posts.

Try to get good position on some platform (be most active on) and then drive traffic to other accounts to also get better position on those, then drive (set links) from those places to your items here.

Some types of art work better with this tactic, see how it works out.
It can be beneficial to diversify as some images attract more views and they then function to get the other items in view, having more stuff works in all directions in this regard.

In my case Pinterest works very well to get my link picket up by other artists, it gets shared around on daily basis, so Pinterest is the place I check-in almost on daily basis.

Artstation is also nice but it has a strong bell curve to overcome when trying to get in viewing position there, you need to basically deliver supper quality on almost daily basis to be able to get over the curve and then ride never ending likes and followers in the front page.

Deviant art works a bit different as it has good category system, people find the type of art they like a bit more easily on that one.

Spending time on own marketing and figuring out how you most likely get to your audience is a good practice, CGtrader has big audience but still plenty of people are wandering around in other art places.

This is genius. I examined the resource pinterest and found there a bunch of the same ideas. I think you can draw even more drawings out there. In addition, I myself can be inspired by great ideas. Thank you. This is excellent advice. And I will definitely follow it. Thank you =)

@creatorfog, with prices like this, you will be able to earn some pocket money. It should be enough for an ice cream in a hot summer day, but if you want to go to watch a movie with the friends, you'll have to raise your prices significantly.
