Becoming a Seller: What files allow you to sell prints?

Discussion started by sgtclark68

Good Morning All,

I am a retired Army Veteran, and have a Anycubic Photon Mono 4K and a Photon S 3D printer. I would like to make prints and sell them just to fund my hobby and keep me in resin and pay for maintenance of my printers.

I want to do so legally, so how do I do that? What files can I buy that allows me to do that?

I know that there are many of you out there and I would appreciate anything you might be able to share (I live in the U.S.)

Thank you in advance!

Robert

Hey,
Royalty Free is what you are looking for, but beware.
There are a lot of models here being offered as royalty free
that should be editorial.
rule of thumb, if it's recognizable as a brand name or franchise
it's off limits. NO star wars, tomb raider, bugs bunny, etc etc.
MPC had to get permission to sell model kits of fords and chevs etc.

Thank you so much!!! That makes sense. I know people that sell their prints to friends and such, but those they don't post online...
