What am I doing wrong?

Discussion started by 3dvitagame

Greetings.

For several months of presence on this resource I have only 1 sale. Whether models I have wretched, or something that is not clear.

Please see somebody of my models https://www.cgtrader.com/blogogonet and give advice ...

hi blogogonet.
i love you modeling skill but I think you have to prove the quality of your render, and give more details about your models.you can check top designers to get an idea how the model must be presented.hope you good sell.

There's nothing very with your models in particular, except that majority of them falls in furniture category. This is most competetive and overcrowded category of them all. And largely underpriced. If you'd look at analytics tool that is available for cgtrader's sellers, you would see that furniture category has the most models in it, one of the lowest average price, worst liquidity and - no surprise here - worst value for effort. It's not worth to model furniture models for selling at stocks at all, unless you're capable to deliver outstanding quality, insanely detailed models and pump them at mindbogling fast rate. Besides, i doubt that many goes to cgtrader for furniture models, when there is 3dsky, design-connected and such.

Bottom line - you won't became rich by selling furniture models. Look at aforementioned analytics tool and try to pick more profitable category, but remember, models that are easy to make, usually are hard to sell. You need to put significant amount of effort if you want to be rewarded :]

Thanks for the advice, I'll look at the analyst. In general, I earn on web programming, 6 years already doing it. But in 3d it's not so long, but still I would like the models to be sold at least a little)
