No way to do that as far as I know. Will be uploading as CG models until this is fixed.
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knows how to upload .wrl and texture maps to the 3D Printable Model category? It gives me an error message saying only .obj, .stl and .vrml formats are accepted when trying to upload .zip files.
Or is it more practical to upload the files under the Regular 3D Model? The only issue is that there is no Get Printed option which I would like to have.
Thank you for your help,
Mike

I see that you are offering the texture download separately via URL. That might work but it still does not solve the issue of multicolor printing online.
Ricardo,
Thank you so much for your answers. Yes I have been uploading duplicates so users have the options, but perhaps you are right and CG models may be the proper way to go.
I'm just worried about the 3D print challenge models as we do not know if uploading print-ready models to CG category will not disqualify these models from the contest. It's a shame that no one from CGT staff is bothering to answer these questions.
Good news. Got an answer from Marius Kalytis. Here are a couple points:
- they are fixing the 3D print models upload system to allow ZIP uploads (will be fixed today)
- print-ready models with STL/WRL formats not in "3D print" category will be included in challenge as well.
That is great news, I know they must have been busy with the recent website updates. I have a version of each up, and can delete one of the sets once everything is situated.
Thank you again for the updated information!
