The best (but quite expensive) option I use for doing this is Substance Painter. I don't use Blender to do anything with really as I find it horrible lol (sorry). SP accepts quite a few file formats and makes easy working of hi-low poly baking.
Hey CGTrader community
Recently, I've been getting into hard-surface modeling within Blender, and needed some help with texture baking. See, I have detailed my models as such that I use images as planes with transparent images mapped on to them, commonly referred to as decals. I am aware of DECALMachine for Blender, but wanted to manually detail models first. I have been trying to create a diffuse texture for easier use in games and other things, but can't get it to work. I haven't been able to find any specific tutorials on this topic, and was wondering if anyone had any tips or ideas on how I could do this. Thanks in advance!
