Sure enough, I was right.. Hyperwallet trying to screw me

Discussion started by mudboxguru

Submitted clear as day photocopies of my ID and this is what they tell me: "Unfortunately, the document you had originally sent could not be accepted for this purpose because dob not fully legible. Please submit the required document through your pay portal to avoid any delays with payouts."

It's been nice while it lasted, but I'm taking my leave of this site until you return the original payment system back on. I really regret sending them my ID and social security number now.

I don't get it , can you elaborate more how hyperwallet tried to screw you besides asking for new copies of your id ? As I sad multiple times before, don't accuse anyone of anything here on the forum without solid evidence that without doubt prove your claim. Of course we can't see your ID photocopies for obvious reason, confirming your or their claim is impossible which makes this topic pointless. Second, i really don't understand this new trend where anyone who wants to leave cgt for whatever reason have need to announce that via forum. If you don't like hyperwallet and if this new payment system isn't good enough and you think that you should leave for whatever reason , leave , no one put gun on your head an force you to stay here. Just to be clear , I don't care about hyperwallet , payment system , website color, support response time etc.

You can't be serious. If it wasn't clear enough from my initial post from the start. I said that I sent them the required documents and that wasn't good enough to them. And without being activated, you can't get paid. This isn't only happening to me, it's happening to many sellers on this forum and many sellers are being screwed out of being paid. That is why people are leaving, and the reason of making these announcements is to spread awareness so that hopefully CGTrader can resolve the issue and it can be let known that the new system isn't working. And this is coming from a guy who doesn't even sell on CGTrader, so I can't help but ask, why are you so concerned about these issues when they don't even apply to you?

You don't understand why people are disappointed in cgttrader and want to voice their reason for leaving? yet at the same time you voice your diatribe and opinions about what you don't like/care about - I think that's called a contradiction.

"what did he force him to do?" Ask the big GRETA from this weird speaking country (YES! she too speaks very weird english...) where they started this marketplace. "Estona"?? WTF.

Did you indeed make good copy’s of front and back of your ID and send proof your living at the address you provided, etc.?

Don’t know for others but had flawless experience so far, upon providing the requested documents had approval 30 minutes later. Also reading reactions in the forum (mostly reads no reply’s), it seems to work fine for most? Also note others had indeed expressed issues but mostly about country not supported, staff replied they will take every case individually via support ticket. So if it does not work for some reason, just send a support ticket.

Anyway’s, everybody has the right for protesting to keep things status quo, but things will change right? So if you close your account, then what, join the Turbousquid extortion website? That one will surly screw you over and that's one of few things that will not change.

RenderHub? They offer PayPal/Venmo/Payoneer/Skrill/Bitcoin/Litecoin/Ethereum/bank check and bank transfer. They also don't ban racial groups from buying and selling (Russian/Belarusian). They have the same royaties 70% as well. Seems good so far since I've recently joined.

There is decline everywhere you look, but more pronounced at renderhub (https://imgur.com/a/do3rgia) Seems like compromising build up position here for small declining client base over there.

They sent me an email saying they approved me, so no, it was definitely an error on their end. Because I didn't submit any additional documents after they told me my ID was "not legible" even though the pic shows my DOB clear as day. However, I don't like the idea of my money being at the mercy of HyperWallet instead of it just being CGTrader sending to Paypal which they've done a fine job for years. And when I went to go transfer to Paypal, .30 cent fee? So on top of what CGTrader takes, you have to pay Hyperwallet a fee as well.. Now this begs the question, they ask for a Paypal "account ID". What even is that? I have bought and sold on the Internet since 2006 and have always used my email address associated with Paypal. Never even knew Paypal had an "account ID".

@LucasArtz Good advise. RH is GREAT! and it is NYC, United States, Not this "shgsgjhdf" trying to dominate the markets with its suspect world view.
