First a short intro from me.
I have always been interested in 3d modelling, years ago i played with Cinema 4d and other such programs with little success. I happened upon Blender about a years ago but i have to say i really struggle with learning all things vertex !
For over 20 years off and on i have been radio modelling, usual stuff gliders, powered aircraft, cars and even a boat !
So fairly recently i tried quadcopters and am just dipping my toe in the waters of fpv (first person view) with an electric glider.
Now a few weeks ago i figured it was time to go to the next level, using drone technology to replace the lift that a normal wing produces, i want to build 'proper' spaceships, by that i mean aircraft that behave and look like spaceships. No i don't want to fix a foam 'body' onto a quadcopter, i want to develop a spaceship that flys by countering gravity with either direct thrust or vectored thrust.
So i hear you asking what this has to do with CGtrader ? Well here's what i need to ask.
I currently run a new website (i won't give the link out of respect for your community & rules) and i really need some graphics/ideas/plans for suitable models, now i could spend years creating my own but it seems to me it would be an excellent way to promote your really fantastic creations ?
I'm completely open to ideas and suggestions, what i need is images (and possible side/front/iso views on selected models), i'm happy to pass all sales leads directly back to you and if a model does get produced in the real world i am very happy to credit the 3d modeller on the model itself.
I should emphasise that at the moment i have no plans to mass produce, but should that happen i will quite happily insist that the original 3d modeller gets deserving credit.
So what do you guys/gals think ? Can i get permissions to use your 2d images on my website ? Are you interested in providing 'plans' or 3d models (3d models will NOT be redistributed, they are only for me to setup scenes which will render into a 2d image) ?
I respectfully ask for your thoughts.
Thank you.
