Question about Quixel Suite nDo

Discussion started by baxramefendiyev

Hi. I started to learn Quixel Suit - NDO. I'm absolutely new with this program. And my first problem which I can't solve :) Please anyone help me. After creating shape in Photoshop, I can't configurate it's preferences. Quixel can't understand what I created or maybe I do something wrong. Please watch the video, it'll take your 2minutes. Thanks for attention.

Its better you learn the workflow of the Quixel Suite and not just jumping in clueless. Here is an excellent beginners tutorial made by the Quixel Developers that explain how to use the basics of NDO, DDO and 3DO.

Thank you for tutorial. I'll watch this surely. But do you know what is wrong in my action? Did you watch a video? Why it's not appear preferences for normal in left side windows?

The tutorial I sent you will explain how to fix that problem within the first minute or so. Essentially you didn't create a Quixel Normal Layer which meant you were editing your input baked normal map directly rather than creating a separate shape which gives you control over the different options

You have to select the layer in photoshop, to get access to the properties.
