I think that support should not refund him, they should ban him for insulting instead. You can't just like that call someone a liar just because you don't know what you are doing and just because you are lazy to read the description. 100 peoples 100 different personalities someone would say, but there is only one common sense and that's it, and it looks like that there is just less and less of it. I think we need some red paint to paint sentences in the model description, sentences like "GAME MODEL" , "NOT FOR 3D PRINTING"

Who can read is at an advantage clearly... Bet you could highlight those sentences bright red and keep them flashing and it won't help.

There should be a way to turn off that "Request format conversion" button - have not found a setting for it yet.
Therefore no one can get the idea she/he/it could ask request a conversion to another format (e.g. printable) to avoid your case. Or just because artists don't want a conversion out of different reasons (e.g. making it at least a bit harder for thieves to rip models/projects apart so they might not bother).

EDIT: But still customers would have to be able to read...

So "Please don't buy this model" written into the description won't help either haha

You can opt out from accepting format conversion requests, there's an option for that in the settings. In fact i might just do that myself - i don't get many format conversion requests, but so far, every single of them was either weird, stupid, or even plain scam attempt. I think that FBX and OBJ formats which i provide, already covers 99% people's needs. It's not big deal if i will loose 0,01% of sales without converting to some exotic format.

Yes there are checkboxes that you can opt out of getting your models "converted to PBR in exchange for 20% royalities when the PBR file is downloaded" and "Allow buyers to send me File format conversion requests". Both I have already deactivated all the time. But those buttons stay. Might be another bug then.

Over the years I came to conclusion that big percentage of customers know nothing about 3D, have very limited computer skills and can't read.

@SimonTGriffiths, when you blur someone's personal information in the image, make sure you do this properly ;]

Really sad to see people try to get advantage of other people that are doing there best to get some clean models to sell
