I have uploaded the method I was using to create a circle. Initially, the mesh appeared distorted in certain areas where it should not have been. when exporting the model out of 3ds max In specific regions where it was not expected, issues arose during the export of the model from 3ds Max. The mesh no signs of light distortion within 3ds max ; however, upon loading the OBJ file into Substance Painter, certain areas appeared distorted.
I read on forum to export obj choose triangle on export and within fbx no subdivision by selecting these options seem to have remved the issue
