I'm not sure what algorithm that CGT uses to advertise models, but it's safe to say that if someone searches for "ring", that customers will have well over 300,000 choices. Modelling something that there isn't thousands of choices of, would increase your chances of a sale, but ultimately it is the customer who makes the choice. If the customer has a wide range of models and prices to choose from, it's a buyers market. I would assume that better selling models, will come up more preferentially in the search, as well as artists that have been well reviewed, as it is in the best interests of CGT to promote models that improve THEIR bottom line. There have been complaints in the past where a sudden drop off in sales of many artists, that either followed a change to the website or a significant change in the world economy. Don't forget, you're competing with thousands upon thousands of artists here. You have to stand out in a crowd.
